Bill Bartlett started this legacy of a company in 1973 as Bill Bartlett Real Estate. Leaving behind his career in life insurance with Farm Bureau in Brownwood, Texas, he sought to build something for himself and his family, closer to where he was raised. He found an office in Belton and opened its doors as its newfound proprietor. He would later reminisce this choice as the second best decision he ever made in his life, his first: marrying Ruth.

Since that bold decision to leave a promising career to start a business and jump feet first into Real Estate, our company has prospered. We moved our office from Belton to Salado in 1982 and joined CENTURY 21 in 1992, becoming what we're known today. Throughout the years, our integrity and intense desire to better our community have shaped every decision we've made, allowing us to garner the reputation and respect needed to succeed.

Bill Bartlett is the founder of not just our company but the Bartlett Family as well. The progenitor of two more generations of Real Estate Professionals, his two daughters, a granddaughter, and grandson continue his 52 year legacy of providing exceptional service to an ever-growing clientele base. Serving as the Chairman of Salado ISD Board of Trustees, a member of local banks’ Board of Directors, the President of the Temple-Belton Board of Realtors, being elected to the Water Board, and many other local positions, he is a shining example to the rest of us on what community involvement truly means. He sparked our family’s passion for giving back to the community, eventually granting the Bartlett Family the honor of being inducted into the Salado Hall of Fame in 2009.
