Equipment

  • 1 9" x 13" baking dish
  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • 1 Mixing Spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • cups brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • cups cold butter
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 12 ounces caramel topping

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking soda and salt.
  • Cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Set half aside for topping.
  • Press remaining crumb mixture into 9" x 13" dish.
  • Bake at 350for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips, pecans and caramel drizzle.
  • Put the remaining crumbs on top and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
