
Caramelitas
Equipment
- 1 9" x 13" baking dish
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- 1 Mixing Spoon
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1½ cups brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1½ cups cold butter
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 12 ounces caramel topping
Instructions
- Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking soda and salt.
- Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Set half aside for topping.
- Press remaining crumb mixture into 9" x 13" dish.
- Bake at 350◦ for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips, pecans and caramel drizzle.
- Put the remaining crumbs on top and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
