I grew up on my family farm near Holland, Texas and have been a life long resident of Bell County. I have been involved with farming, ranching, and rural agricultural real estate all my life. I began my full time efforts as a farmer and rancher in Central Texas in 1991. My interest in real estate came from that background learning to evaluate production value vs. price of properties leased and purchased for my farming and ranching operation. I began to develop a more detailed process as I started buying and selling properties solely as investments and income producing property. I earned a real estate license in the state of Texas in 2006 and have since become a sales associate at Century 21 Bill Bartlett in Salado, Texas.
I have been involved in all aspects of construction on my own investment properties and have represented builders and property developers throughout the platting and subdivision process all the way to completed new construction sales. This has given me valuable experience dealing with surveyors, engineers, and county and city governments. In the time I have been with Century 21 Bill Bartlett, I have worked hard to set myself apart as a go-to agent for land throughout Bell County and the surrounding area. I have handled well over $32,400,000 in sales and counting, earning the Century 21 Ruby, Diamond, and Centurion Awards along with the Quality Service award 3 years in a row. The majority of my sales have been land sales and I continue to focus on this market. I am a member of the Realtors Land Institute and hold the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation. Only 50 other Realtors in the state of Texas currently hold the ALC. Aside from land sales I have experience in many types of real estate transactions ranging from typical single family resale, foreclosures, relocation properties, exchanges, reverse exchanges, tax sale property, real estate auctions, and new construction with spec as well as custom homes. I am currently furthering my education in commercial real estate in preparation for the continued growth of our area. This will become more and more important for land transactions throughout our I-35 growth corridor.
Service in the community is very important to me, volunteering my time and energy in several places. I served 12 years on the board of directors for our local rural water corporation Armstrong Water Supply. I also enjoy working in our church young men’s organization and have served in several capacities as a counselor, teacher, and quorum advisor. This led me to the opportunity to also work as a scout committee member and advisor for the Boy Scouts of America.
I live near Salado with my wife and our three children. Some of our favorite family activities are attending the kid’s soccer, basketball, and volleyball games, riding four wheelers, shooting, hunting, and working on our ranch. When it’s just too hot for any of those we can be found at the movies or hanging out in the pool or on the lake.
Our family is very active in our church, school, and community. We truly enjoy the great small town lifestyle Salado has to offer.
