For the past 37 years, Bill has been in the real estate business in Bell County, both in construction and brokerage of property for others.  Prior to that, he spent 16 years with Farm Bureau Insurance in the Central Texas area.  He also spent 4 years in naval aviation during the Korean War.

 

Bill has served as President of the Salado School Board, President of the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS®, Director of Peoples and Compass Banks, Director of Salado Chamber of Commerce, and Director of Belton Industrial Foundation.  Bill’s designations include State Certified Real Estate Appraiser, Graduate of Real Estate Institute, and Accredited Land Consultant.

 

Bill and his wife, Ruth, are members of the Salado First Baptist Church.  They have three children, Gary, Sue Ellen and Melanie, and seven grandchildren.  When Bill is not selling real estate, he can be found on the tractor shredding the pasture or grooming his trees.
 

As Bill has stated, “One of the best decisions Ruth and I have made was the decision to settle in Salado and raise our family here.”
