Melanie Kirchmeier was raised in Salado.  Her father, Bill Bartlett, moved his family to Salado in the early 70’s to start a career in real estate.  Melanie attended Salado elementary and graduated from Salado High School.  She attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor before transferring to Southwestern University.  She is a graduate of Southwestern University with a degree in Business Administration.

Melanie obtained her real estate license in 1989 and has been active in the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS®, serving as Director, MLS chair and Professional Standards Chair.  She served as 2006 President of the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS®.  Melanie is also active in the Salado community, having served on the Salado Chamber of Commerce, Salado Education Foundation, and Friends Feeding Friends boards. 

Melanie is married to Bob Roemer.  They enjoy spending time with their three children Kayla, Cameron, and Stephen.  Melanie grew up loving Salado and decided to raise her family in this community in order to create the same memories with her children. 

Melanie is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, an Accredited Buyer Representative and a Certified Residential Specialist.  She is a member of three local Multiple List Services; Temple-Belton, Killeen and Austin.  Melanie has 21 years of real estate experience.
